Here is another batch part of the 1st texans, under General hoods command. I painted the flags on a newspaper and made the flagpoles out of one of the sticks you find in home decorating bouquet. The bases are pine, painted green with a magnetic strip on the top to allow for easier troop movement when playing brother against brother.

Hoods texans
Here is another batch part of the 1st texans, under General hoods command. I painted the flags on a newspaper and made the flagpoles out of one of the sticks you find in home decorating bouquet. The bases are pine, painted green with a magnetic strip on the top to allow for easier troop movement when playing brother against brother.

Ok this is part of my Hood's Brigade I just finished painting, they are based for the Brother against Brother Rule Set. Once I tried playing the game with these guys I had to create a base that would allow me to move them a little faster, so I created magnetic bases. I still don't know how to get the grass to stick to the bases very well, so I resorted to mixing elmer's glue with green acrylic paint. Let me know what you think.
